Profile & Story
The Daskalaki family's winemaking tradition in Crete dates to 1920; the Silva Daskalaki winery itself was founded in 1998 in the village of Siva, near Heraklion, and has farmed organically and biodynamically for over a decade. Psithiros Red is made from the indigenous Liatiko grape, one of Crete's oldest varieties.
Tasting Notes
Ruby-colored, with intense aromas of red berries and red fruit, vanilla, spice, and hints of herbs and walnut.
