Château Routas is a 642-acre Provence estate in the high-elevation Coteaux Varois en Provence appellation, roughly equidistant from the Mediterranean coast and the foothills of the Alps, with 135 acres planted to vine amid rocky, wooded terrain. The Routas label dates to 1992; the property was later purchased in 2005 by Scottish businessman Sir David Murray. This rosé is produced under the Coteaux Varois en Provence appellation.
