Quinta de Lemos is a family estate in the Dão region of Portugal, in Silgueiros, overseen by winemaker Hugo Chaves and built around the philosophy that its vines and olive trees are "nurtured by patient and loving hands." The estate focuses on indigenous Dão grape varieties to express its region. Dona Santana is a blend of Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, and Alfrocheiro, fermented in large wooden vats and a stainless-steel tank for 7 to 10 days, with malolactic fermentation and 15 months of maturation in French oak.
