Profile & Story

Borgo del Tiglio, founded by Nicola Manferrari in 1981 in Brazzano di Cormons, is regarded as one of Friuli's benchmark white wine producers. The Collio Sauvignon comes from east-facing vineyards at Ruttars and ages 9-10 months in used oak barrels.

Tasting Notes

Sweetly aromatic in youth with white stone fruit, especially white peach; with age it turns more mineral and flinty, retaining a saline, deep, and persistent palate despite its dry finish.
