Profile & Story

Castelfeder, founded in 1969 by Alfons Giovanett in Alto Adige, farms Kerner Lahn from selected high-altitude vineyards (about 900m) in the Bassa Atesina, among the highest Kerner sites in South Tyrol. The grapes are hand-harvested, gently pressed, fermented in stainless steel, and matured on the fine lees for six months.

Tasting Notes

Straw-yellow in color, with aromatic notes of yellow fruit balanced by crisp acidity and a complex structure; a spiced, nutmeg-tinged character typical of Kerner.
