Klaus Lentsch, from a long-established South Tyrolean winemaking family, struck out on his own in 2008 to make wines typical of the region from historic sites including Eichberg. The Eichberg vineyard sits in the southern Isarco Valley (Eisacktal), a transition zone between alpine and Mediterranean climates.
