Profile & Story

Piemaggio takes its name from Le Fioraie, the hamlet in Castellina in Chianti where all the estate's vineyards lie. Le Fioraie Chianti Classico blends 90% Sangiovese with 10% Colorino, Canaiolo, and Ciliegiolo, aged roughly 18 months across concrete vats, French oak casks, and tonneaux.

Tasting Notes

Intense ruby that takes on burgundy undertones with age; violet flowers and dried cherry on the nose, with an intense, persistent palate typical of a classic Chianti Classico.
