Domaine Carneros, Carneros. The Estate Brut Cuvee is the winery's signature wine, crafted using exacting methode traditionnelle techniques from a blend of 56% Estate Grown Pinot Noir and 44% Estate Grown Chardonnay sourced from numerous estate blocks and clones, aged a minimum of three years sur lie before release. Note: the producer's current technical sheet at this link covers the 2022 vintage; the wine on this list is the 2021 vintage.
Tasting Notes
Fresh and delicate aromas of lemon zest, white nectarine, and white flowers, followed by quince with a touch of pie crust and brioche. The palate is round and full, with an energetic entry of fresh apple, ginger, and sliced pear leading to a lifted finish.
Pairing Recommendation
