Scribe Winery, Sonoma. This Estate Rose (current bottling "XIV. Mesmerism") is the winery's first pick of the year, hand-harvested from the southwest-facing blocks of Arrowhead Slope over several days, then delicately pressed to preserve the fresh energy of the just-ripened fruit, followed by a long, cold fermentation in stainless steel. Soil type: Huichica Loam and Volcanic Gravel. Note: the producer's current release shown at this link is the 2025 vintage; house method and site are consistent with the 2022 vintage on this list.
