La Sibilla Falanghina 2024
2024, Campania, Italy
Profile & Story
Born from the winemaking and culinary traditions of the Campi Flegrei, near Naples, La Sibilla was founded by Luigi and Restituta Di Meo, who believed deeply in the wine-growing vocation of this land. The first labelled bottles appeared in 1997, and the wines have since gained character and identity through the work of the next generation — sons Vincenzo, Salvatore, and Mattia — with the family and its terroir remaining the common thread. This Falanghina Campi Flegrei DOC is made from pure Falanghina grapes with three months of ageing in steel on the fine lees. It is an easy-drinking wine intended to accompany a whole meal.
Pairing Recommendation
Ideal throughout the meal and with traditional dishes based on fish, white meats, and vegetables.
