Nardello (Azienda Agricola Daniele Nardello) is a family winery in Monteforte d’Alpone, in the Soave Classico zone of Veneto, with vineyards on Monte Zoppega and Monte Tondo at the southern edge of the Classico area. Meridies, the estate’s first label, is a Soave Classico DOC made from 100% Garganega grown on Monte Zoppega, on deep, rich, dark volcanic soils, trained by Guyot and Veronese pergola. The grapes are harvested at the end of October, softly pressed and cold-settled, then fermented with selected yeasts; after a single racking the wine rests on its fine lees until March, when the blends are assembled.
Tasting Notes
A slightly deep yellow with faint green reflections. On the nose, notes of white flowers that strengthen as the wine breathes, with ripe-fruit scents emerging later, especially yellow-fleshed fruit. On the palate it draws together those aromatic impressions, with notable length and a balance that persists after the wine is swallowed.

Serve at 9–12 °C.
