Agua de Piedra's premium fruit comes from old, single-trellised, naturally farmed vineyards on glacial-deposit soils in Alto Agrelo, Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza, about 180 acres at 3,500 feet above sea level.
Tasting Notes
100% Malbec, vinified with cooler fermentation for some lots to preserve fruit character and 30-day skin maceration for others. Food-friendly and downright yummy, with notes of earth, leather and red fruit alongside chocolate and prune; the palate is soft and lush with lingering black cherry, raspberry and spice.
