Cardiff Cabernet Sauvignon is a private-label California red produced by ASV Wines, sourced from Lodi and San Joaquin Valley fruit (100% California appellation, not Napa). Winemaker Christophe Cris Legrandjacques, French-born, takes a classic approach aimed at balancing the grapes' rich fruit with elegance and finesse; the wine is aged in American oak. Cardiff no longer appears among ASV's current flagship brands, so this is a private-label bottling rather than a headline release.
