Profile & Story

Like its Cabernet Sauvignon sibling, Cardiff Chardonnay is an ASV Wines private-label bottling from Lodi and San Joaquin Valley fruit (100% California appellation), made under winemaker Cris Legrandjacques. Cardiff no longer appears among ASV's current active brands.

Tasting Notes

Fermented in stainless steel, then taken through full secondary malolactic fermentation for creaminess before oak aging sur lie. Tropical and citrus fruit flavors shine against a backdrop of toasty vanilla.

Pairing Recommendation

Serve with grilled Coho salmon or mussels simmered in white wine and garlic.
