Profile & Story
Produced by Bodega Cuatro Rayas (Agricola Castellana) in La Seca, Castilla y Leon, founded in 1935 as a cooperative in what's known as the cradle of Verdejo, renamed Agricola Castellana in 1944, with the name drawn from the Pago de las Cuatro Rayas vineyard. More than 300 grower members farm roughly 2,400 hectares across about 30 villages, producing around 15 million bottles a year, primarily Verdejo alongside Tempranillo.
Tasting Notes
100% Tempranillo, aged 5 months in new American oak barrels (the Roble style). Well-layered cherry-red color with garnet glints and intense aromas of black wild fruits with hints of vanilla; clean and fresh on the palate with well-harmonized sweet tannins and a lingering, full-flavored finish.

Recommended with cheese and grilled meat.
