Profile & Story
Vinos del Viento is run by Michael Cooper, a DipWSET-certified winemaker; the Amber cuvee is named for his sister and draws inspiration from Georgian orange-wine traditions. It's 100% Moscatel de Alejandria from an organically farmed Muscat vineyard, fermented with indigenous yeasts and bottled unfined and unfiltered with under 30 mg/L total sulfites.
Tasting Notes
A total explosion of peach and white flowers, with the skin contact producing a lovely onion-skin color, a sunset haze in the glass.
Pairing Recommendation
Its aromatic intensity and light tannic grip make it a natural match for spiced or aromatic dishes, from Middle Eastern mezze to soft cheeses.
