Profile & Story

Von Kisel is a SoilAir Selection negociant label sourced from two single vineyards of 25 to 30 year-old vines in the Neusiedlersee villages of Halbturn and Andau (Burgenland), Andau being grower Hannes Reeh's home village. Fruit is hand-picked and hand-sorted, destemmed before crushing, cool-fermented in stainless steel, and rests two months on its fine lees.

Dry, mineral Gruner Veltliner typical of Burgenland, with the variety's characteristic white-pepper spice.
