Profile & Story

Oscar is a Maipo Valley Cabernet Sauvignon-based blend made by Vina Echeverria under winemaker Roberto Echeverria for the Xavier Flouret label, from 20-year-old vines grown in alluvial soils.

Tasting Notes

A blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Petit Verdot and 5% Cabernet Franc (13.5% ABV), hand-harvested and fermented in stainless steel with native yeasts, extended skin maceration and full malolactic fermentation, then aged 12 months in French oak. Lean, soft and mild, with a seedy bitterness against black-currant-jam flavor.
