Profile & Story
Zardetto is produced by Mack and Schule Italia, blending contemporary Italian identity with liveliness, freshness and full aroma. The wine is 85% Glera and 15% Pinot Blanc-Chardonnay from vineyards in the provinces of Venice and Treviso.
Tasting Notes
The base wine is held at 10-12C in stainless steel before a pressurized-tank second fermentation at 15-16C, then rests at 0C for at least 30 days before filtering and bottling. Straw-yellow with greenish reflections and a rich, fine, persistent perlage; fresh, floral and fruity with hints of acacia flowers, apricot and green apple, and a pleasantly acidic palate lifted by citrus and green apple.
Pairing Recommendation
Perfect as an aperitif, and equally enjoyable throughout a full meal.
