Bonny Doon Vineyard, founded by Randall Grahm on California's Central Coast, is known for unconventional Rhône-inspired wines. ‘Le Cigare Orange’ is a skin-fermented (“orange”) blend of Grenache Blanc, Pinot Gris, Grenache Gris, Orange Muscat and Chenin Blanc drawn from about ten Central Coast vineyards, given roughly two weeks of skin contact before pressing.
Tasting Notes
A striking amber-salmon hue; aromas of orange blossom, thyme and lemon zest; a palate of bitter orange and stone fruit balanced by medium acidity and a subtle, salty finish.
