The Almondo family has farmed Roero's Arneis since the 1970s under Domenico Almondo and sons Stefano and Federico. ‘Vigne Sparse’ (“scattered vineyards”) draws on three certified-organic sites at 310-370m around Montà d'Alba, fermented and aged in stainless steel on the lees.
Tasting Notes
Pale straw with a hint of green; aromas and flavors of apricot, herbs, wet stones and citrus rind; dry, bright, distinctive and very mineral, with a mouthwatering, focused finish.
