Founded in 1942 in the Premier Cru village of Chigny-les-Roses on the Montagne de Reims, Maison J. Lassalle is a family-owned grower Champagne house, today run by three generations of women. ‘Cachet d’Or’ is a traditional blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier, pressed in an old-style vertical wooden press, given full malolactic fermentation, and aged roughly three years on the lees before disgorgement.
