Murgo is a historic estate on Mount Etna's eastern slopes near Santa Venerina, farming terraced vineyards at 1,600-2,000ft. This Etna Bianco DOC blends 70% Carricante and 30% Catarratto from hand-harvested vines 30-40 years old, cold-macerated for four hours before pressing and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of jasmine and yellow flowers; a plush yet lively palate with rich, intense citrus and apricot flavors, and the mineral lift typical of Etna's volcanic soils.
