Ippolito 1845 is one of Calabria's oldest continuously operating wineries, tracing its roots to 1845 in Cirò Marina. Mare Chiaro Cirò Bianco DOC is made from 100% Greco Bianco, sourced from two sandy estates close to the Ionian Sea (Tenuta Difesa Piana and Tenuta Feudo). Grapes are picked in two passes — once just under-ripe, and again about a month later — fermented separately, then blended and aged four months in stainless steel. ABV 13%.
