Pepi Lignana is the wine brand of Fattoria Il Casalone, owned by the Lignana family, who have farmed the estate in Maremma Toscana since 1960. Poggio Colombi is their Bordeaux-style blend built around the exclusivity of the 'Colombi' vineyard: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot (roughly 70/20/10).
Tasting Notes
Shiny ruby color, fading toward the edges; aromas of wild berries, dark and sweet spices, tobacco, and Mediterranean scrub; soft and silky on the palate with well-balanced tannins.
