Moet & Chandon's Brut Imperial has been the house's signature cuvee since 1869, blended from over 100 different wines -- roughly 30-40% Pinot Noir, 30-40% Meunier and 20-30% Chardonnay -- including 20-30% reserve wines, drawn from nearly 280 crus across Champagne. Dosage is 7 g/liter.
Tasting Notes
Golden straw yellow with green highlights. Green apple and citrus intensity on the nose, with mineral notes, white flowers, brioche and almond. On the palate, white-fleshed fruits (pear, peach, apple), fine bubbles and soft citrus with gooseberry nuances, finishing on apple, nuts and lemon.
