This BloodRoot Cabernet Sauvignon blends fruit from Knights Valley, Rockpile, Sonoma Valley, and Dry Creek Valley - 93% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot, and 1% Cabernet Franc. Fermentation takes place in small vessels over 24 to 38 days, followed by 27 months of aging in a mix of new, once-used, and neutral barrels, finishing at 14.2% ABV.

Tasting Notes

Punchy aromas of black cherry, earthy spice, purple flowers, and cinnamon lead into a neatly balanced palate of baked cherry, blackberry, graphite, and cracked pepper, lifted by juicy acidity and velvety tannin.
