Stefano Massone farms estate vineyards in Capriata d'Orba, in the warmer southeastern corner of the Gavi DOCG, where Cortese reaches full ripeness on calcareous-clay soils with southwest exposure. The Masera bottling ferments at controlled temperature in stainless steel for about two weeks, followed by four months of aging before release.
Tasting Notes
Brilliant straw yellow with greenish reflections, with delicate but persistent fruity and floral aromas. Dry and fresh on the palate, with pleasant mineral notes.
