Emme Wines is the project of winemaker Rosalind Reynolds, named for her grandmother, built around organically and dry-farmed California vineyards. 'It's Not a Phase' comes from the Nakai Vineyard in the Russian River Valley: whole-cluster, foot-crushed Merlot fermented with indigenous yeasts, aged ten months in neutral oak and puncheon, then a further year in bottle before release, unfined and unfiltered.
