Profile & Story
Langmeil Winery, owned by the Lindner family, has farmed the Barossa Valley for six generations. Hangin' Snakes co-ferments Shiraz with a small percentage of Viognier sourced from the Dorrien, Bethany, Lights Pass, Tanunda, and Moppa Hills subdistricts, aged around ten months in seasoned American and French oak. The name comes from grower Wally Krieg's favorite vintage-time exclamation.
Tasting Notes
Medium to deep purple, with lifted aromas of Satsuma plum, mulberry, and florals alongside sweet spice and chocolate; soft, velvety tannins carry a full-bodied palate with notes of mocha and bramble.
