Masseria Li Veli is an estate in Puglia's Salento, owned by the Falvo family, also proprietors of Avignonesi in Montepulciano, and dedicated to reviving indigenous grape varieties. The Askos line — named for the ancient Greek 'decanter' vessel — showcases rare local grapes, including Susumaniello, a red variety planted on fewer than 125 acres across all of Italy.
