Domaines Ott was founded 130 years ago by Marcel Ott and remains a family-run estate defined by close dialogue with its Mediterranean environment - its landscapes, soils, and light. Over time the family built a holding of three estates - Château de Selle, the original property; Clos Mireille; and Château Romassan, acquired in 1956 - spanning three terroirs and two appellations, AOC Côtes de Provence and AOC Bandol, each developing its own distinct character while sharing a commitment to terroir-driven winemaking; the estates have been organically certified since the 2022 vintage. Château de Selle, the estate of origin, comprises 84 hectares set amid pine forest, planted on soils of gypsum and red clay, sandstone, gravel, and stone. The 2024 Château de Selle Rosé is blended from 55% Grenache, 30% Cinsault, 12% Mourvèdre, and 3% Syrah. The growing season brought a mild, moderately rainy spring and a hot, dry summer with cool nights, allowing the grapes to ripen gradually and evenly into healthy, balanced fruit with aromatic finesse and bright acidity, aimed at elegance and aging potential. The wine reaches 13.5% alcohol.
