Profile & Story
Beeslaar is the project of Abrie Beeslaar, celebrated Pinotage specialist and longtime winemaker at Kanonkop, sourced from old, unirrigated bushvines in the Swartland. TAJ comes from the largest single Pinotage vineyard in the world, 20-year-old bushvines on decomposed shale, fermented in concrete with only light oak influence.
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby with pronounced plum and dark chocolate aromas; blackberry, dried cherry and smoke notes on the palate, with a silky, dry finish.
