Laurent Lebled spent over 30 years as a wood merchant before the 2008 recession pushed him into winemaking with no vineyard inheritance and no cellar experience, encouraged by childhood friends. He now farms just over three hectares between Savigny-en-Veron and Saint-Aignan-sur-Cher in the Loire under the label "A la Votre!", working organically with 50-70 year-old Sauvignon Blanc vines. La Sauvignonne is made with carbonic maceration and whole-cluster fermentation, unfined, unfiltered and bottled without additional sulfur.
