Aragosta is the emblematic Vermentino di Sardegna DOC of Cantina Santa Maria La Palma in Alghero, a Sardinian cooperative with more than sixty years of winemaking history; around 2.5 million bottles of the Aragosta line are made each year, and it has been named among Wine Spectator's Top 100 Values.
Tasting Notes
Straw yellow with delicate greenish reflections. A fine, harmonious nose of white flowers and white-fleshed fruit. Dry, vibrant, mineral and balanced on the palate - fresh and pleasantly persistent.
Pairing Recommendation
Pairs well with fish dishes, particularly shellfish, and is also ideal as an aperitif. Serve at 6-8 C.
