Fratelli Cosmo is the Prosecco label of the Cosmo brothers (Umberto, Luigi and Domenico) under the Bellenda house in the Conegliano-Valdobbiadene hills. This Extra Dry Prosecco DOC is sourced from select Glera vineyards around Cordignano, Sarmede and Cappella Maggiore in the hills of Treviso, hand-harvested and made by the Italian (Charmat) method.
Tasting Notes
Luminous and sparkling, with a delicate bead of fine bubbles and a soft, generous mousse. A generous bouquet of Golden Delicious apple, peach and wisteria balances fragrance with refreshing crispness; the palate is fruit-forward and smooth, full-bodied and well-structured - harmonious and elegant.
Pairing Recommendation
An ideal aperitif; its structure also suits Italian antipasti and vegetable or fish first courses. Serve at 6-8 C in generous Prosecco stemware.
