JoMa is the natural-wine label Johanna Markowitsch launched in 2018 at her family's certified-organic estate in Gottlesbrunn (Carnuntum, Austria). 'Spektakel' is a skin-contact (orange) Gruner Veltliner from sandy loess soils, given 15 days on the skins, spontaneous fermentation in open vats and seven months in steel on the full lees, with no fining or filtration.
Tasting Notes
Various aromas of wet stone, spicy apple, dried apricot and herbs. A wine that is reticent at first but grows exciting as it opens up in the glass.
