Domaine Bois de Brignon is a label of the Les Vignerons de Remoulins Fournès cooperative (formerly Cave Coopérative les Coteaux de Fournès, merged with the Remoulins cooperative in 2018), based in Fournès, Gard, on the edge of the Côtes du Rhône appellation near the Pont du Gard. The Bois de Brignon vineyard sits on coarse, ancient river-gravel soil left by the Rhône; large stones absorb daytime heat and release it at night to aid ripening, and the Mistral wind helps keep the vines free of fungal disease. The wine is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault (some sources also mention Mourvèdre/Carignan in the co-op's broader range).
