Champagne L'Hoste Père & Fils was founded in 1970 in Bassuet (Vitryat area) by Jean and Suzanne L'Hoste; their children Pascal and Dominique expanded the operation, and Clément (grandson of the founders) has since joined to continue the family tradition. The estate farms about 18 hectares on the chalky hillsides of the Vitryat, with Chardonnay as the dominant variety. The family handles all stages of vineyard work personally, from pruning through harvest and pressing, blending modern equipment with traditional methods; total production is about 115,000 bottles across five cuvées.
