Bodega Lagarde, founded in 1897, is one of Argentina's oldest wineries, acquired by the Pescarmona family in 1969 and now run by third-generation sisters Sofía and Lucila Pescarmona. 'Teia' is Lagarde's line inspired by 'wonder and the beauty of everyday rituals'; this bottling blends Malbec (about 85%) with Petit Verdot (about 15%) from the Perdriel vineyard in Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, planted in 2006-2007 at 980 meters altitude. Fermentation is traditional at controlled low temperature (below 17°C) with no malolactic fermentation and no oak contact, preserving pure fruit character. ABV is approximately 12.9%.
