The Prisoner Wine Company built its identity by stepping outside conventional winemaking, working closely with longtime grower partners including the Solari Family Vineyard in Calistoga and the Korte Ranch in St. Helena, farmed by the same family for four generations.
Tasting Notes
A blend of Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Malbec, full-bodied and opulent, with cranberry, blackberry, dried plum, caramelized vanilla, nutmeg and toasted coconut on the nose, a soft mouthfeel, and a smooth, luscious finish balancing red and black fruit with integrated sweet spice.
