Profile & Story

Bodegas Martinez Lacuesta was founded in 1895 by Felix Martinez Lacuesta in Haro, in the heart of Rioja, and the winery remains rooted in that history today. The Lacuesta Selecto Crianza is made from 100% Tempranillo grown in the estate's Rioja Alta vineyards, aged for two years in American oak and racked four times by the traditional gravity method before further aging in bottle.

Tasting Notes

A classic Rioja Crianza, with red fruit and vanilla-tinged oak aromas from its time in American oak, soft, well-integrated tannins, and a smooth, balanced finish.
