Antonio Gaudioso is an Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG label imported exclusively to the US market by Monsieur Touton Selection. The wine is produced in the classic Valpolicella zone from the traditional Corvina, Rondinella and Corvinone blend, following the appassimento method in which grapes are dried before fermentation to concentrate sugars and flavor, characteristic of the Amarone style.
Tasting Notes
Lushly flavored, intensely concentrated and silky-textured, with deep garnet, velvety-red color. Aromas of wild-cherry jam, spice and hints of cedar lead to rich, dry black-cherry flavors on the palate, with a long, round and persistent finish accented by chocolate and spice.
