Profile & Story

Bertani is a historic Veneto winery founded in 1857 in Grezzana, Verona, now part of Angelini Wines & Estates, closely associated with Amarone and Valpolicella. Bertarose is a Chiaretto Verona rosé from inland Lake Garda and young Valpolicella vineyards on clay-limestone soil, Guyot-trained vines averaging 10 years old, aged about 3 months in stainless steel. Alcohol content is 12%.

Tasting Notes

Coral-pink color recalling peaches; aromas ranging from small red fruits to spices; the palate balances good structure with vibrant acidity, finishing fresh and sapid.
