Profile & Story

Castello di Gabbiano is a historic estate in Chianti Classico, Tuscany, with winemaking roots dating to the 14th century; since 2018 it has been part of Treasury Wine Estates. Alongside its Tuscan reds, Gabbiano bottles a Veneto Prosecco under its 'Cavaliere d'Oro' selection of wines from top Italian winemaking regions. This Prosecco DOC Brut is made entirely from Glera grapes vinified by the Charmat (tank) method.

Tasting Notes

A bright, lively nose of fresh citrus, green pear and white floral notes, in a style the producer describes as balancing old and new world Prosecco character; crisp, dry, and well suited to toasting.
