Profile & Story

Patrizi is a wine brand of the Manfredi family, whose winery sits in the rolling hills of the Langhe valley in Piedmont and has produced Barbera d'Alba, Barolo and Gavi di Gavi for more than 90 years. This wine is 100% Nebbiolo from the Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC appellation -- a softer, less tannic and more fruit-forward expression of the variety, generally ready to drink within a couple of years of bottling. Reported ABV is around 14% vol.

Tasting Notes

Garnet red in color, with aromas of red fruits, cherry and violet on the nose. On the palate it is well-structured and linear, with a smooth, pleasant taste and characteristic spice notes.

Pairing Recommendation

The producer recommends pairing with roasts, game and aged cheese, served at 18-20C.
