Profile & Story

Cantina del Nebbiolo is a cooperative winery founded in 1959 in Vezza d'Alba, bringing together more than 170 winegrowers who together farm roughly 300 hectares of vines across the Langa and Roero areas. This Barbaresco is made entirely from Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Barbaresco, Neive, Alba and Treiso communes. Maturation lasts a minimum of two years, including at least 9 months in cask, before release, helping to soften the grippy tannins characteristic of Nebbiolo.

Tasting Notes

Rich and full-bodied, with flavors of cherry, red berry and spice, a smooth texture, well-integrated tannins, and nuanced, earthy undertones typical of Barbaresco.
