Grown on La Tunella's Colli Orientali del Friuli hillside vineyards (marl-and-sandstone 'ponca' soil), this base Sauvignon Blanc bottling is at 13% ABV.
Tasting Notes
Vivacious, bright straw yellow with distinct greenish highlights. The bouquet is intense and elegant, with typical herbaceous sensations of sage and tomato leaf blending with more delicate fruity notes of melon and yellow pepper, closing with long aromatic persistence.
Pairing Recommendation
A wine for apéritifs and starters; excellent with lobster, scampi, salmon and sea fish in general, and also with creamed and clear soups, risottos and herb-based dishes.
