Decoy was created in 1985 by Dan and Margaret Duckhorn, and the Limited tier is its top selection, made from grapes drawn from some of the most acclaimed California vineyard sources including the winery's own estate properties. This Cabernet Sauvignon comes from Alexander Valley in northern Sonoma County, where warm days and cool nights suit the variety.
Tasting Notes
Enticing aromas of dark fruit, ripe blueberry, violet and sweet blackberry with subtle cardamom and clove spice. The palate is full-bodied and powerful with soft tannins, juicy boysenberry and blackberry carrying through a long, ripe finish.
