About the Wine
The 2023 Bonterra Chardonnay is comprised of grapes selected from a variety of California appellations, and especially features Mendocino County grapes from a variety of elevations, resulting in a rich mouthfeel and bright acidity.
Tasting Notes
The brilliant golden straw hue hints at the depth of flavour that unfolds in the glass. Pleasing aromas of pear and green apple give way to balanced fruit flavours and crème brûlée on the palate, a rich and creamy wine with a hint of toast on the finish. This Chardonnay will continue to evolve for up to four years of additional cellaring.
Pairing Notes
Pairs well with fresh summer salads featuring lemon zest, roasted hazelnuts, or green herb accents. Suitable for plant-based diets.
